You have been attracted to flying up to Alaska because of its wildness and diversity in topography and beauty. This diversity can also relate to weather. We hope we get weather such as in the pictures above, but can’t bet on it.
Our main priority is to have this be a safe flying trip. Every pilot has a different flying background and experience therefore I am sending out this questionnaire to help us instructors get a feel for your personal minimums.
Since each aircraft does not have a CFI onboard we want to make sure we do not fly in weather that is below your minimums or makes you uncomfortable as a PIC. Only us 3 instructors will see your answers and there is absolutely no judgment. Please fill out these questions to your best ability and current status.
